I’m extremely excited to be starting my first year of medical school at MSU’s College of Human Medicine. It’s been quite a challenge and competitive process, with taking the MCAT, completing applications, volunteer work, and so on, but I feel well prepared for this journey and more committed than ever to become an MD!

I continue to conduct research in the lab of Dr. Kurt Zinn, and this work has piqued my interest in oncology along with the genetic basis of disease. Eventually, I hope to work toward a PhD and truly take my medical knowledge from bench to bedside.
